Our story time for the month of June will focus on bees, flowers, fireflies, and fairy folk.
We will travel the countryside with Miss Rumphius spreading seeds of future beauty as we watch our own lupine bloom.
We will celebrate love and a midsummer wedding on another visit with the sweet mice of Brambly Hedge.
We will learn about bees and how honey is made,
and we will learn about the summer solstice and how different cultures have observed this time throughout history.
We will enjoy a delightful introduction to Shakespeare through Bruce Coville’s retelling of A Midsummer Night’s Dream,
